WHEN Bob Linaker was made redundant ten years ago for the second time he decided that it would be necessary to create a source of an independent income.
An accountant from Fife, Linaker decided to follow in the footsteps of previous generations all of whom had owned and rented property in Lancashire and snapped up his first buy to let investment just ahead of the boom years. “I come from four generations of property investors, so it’s in my blood,” says Linaker .
