Driffield is a market town in East Riding of Yorkshire. The town is called the capital of the Wolds. The canal, Driffield Navigation, lays along side the town.

The Country’s largest one-day agricultural show is held annually in Driffield and the Driffield Steam and Vintage Rally with traditional engines and fair organs but focus is placed on agricultural history. Also included are demonstrations of ploughing and threshing. The event attracts as many as 25,000 visitors.
Driffield has successful football a cricket teams. The rugby club has teams from 7years to adult. Other sports clubs include those for golf, swimming, running, show jumping, hockey and bowls.
